Consultant / Senior Consultant, Insights and Analytics

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will work across Blue Matter as a functional expert, playing a key role in identifying analytical solutions to complex client needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Forecasting solutions (early-stage through post launch assets)
- Primary market research (quantitative, quali-quant, and qualitative)
- Scoping
- Research tool development
- Management of vendors fielding quant tools or executing program recruitment
- Raw data analysis and synthesis
- Model development, as applicable
- Story development, including deliverable readout development
- 3rd party raw data analysis (MMIT, IQVIA, etc.)
- Development of Budget Impact Models (payer / provider) in support of core strategy initiatives
- Development of traditional pharmaceutical Gross-to-Net models
- Government pricing impact projections (ASP, 340b, Medicaid Best Price, etc.)
- Financial projections pertaining to reimbursement policy changes (e.g., ASP reform, wastage penalties, drug pricing caps, etc.)
- Development of payer / provider contract strategy simulation models
- Inpatient DRG analysis
- Cost threshold analysis in support of NTAP applications
- Analytics in support of patient services (PAP and co-pay) programs
- Analytics in support of BD&L programs
Desired Experience and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative modeling involving pharmaceutical assets
- Demonstrated experience in execution of quantitative primary market research
- Familiarity with U.S. coverage, payment, and pricing dynamics (including government pricing)
- Familiarity U.S. site of care financial dynamics
- Advanced level analytical skills including quantitative modeling
- Familiarity with core 3rd party data sets involving provider unit data, payer access data, analog sales data, etc.
- Ability to translate raw data analysis into impactful client presentations with actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills (internal and client facing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree(s) (PhD, MD, MBA, or MS)
- 4 years of quantitative analytical experience
- Demonstrated ability to integrate business and industry knowledge in developing creative solutions
