As an Accounting Manager with Blue Matter, you will join an entrepreneurial firm with a dynamic and growing team and have the opportunity to help grow and build the company. Reporting to the Accounting Controller of Blue Matter, you will help own and support key accounting and finance functions and work collaboratively with team members to support the daily operations of the business. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable for multiple entities in several geographies and currencies
    • Accurate Vendor records
    • Timely and accurate entry of vendor invoices
    • Obtain and maintain W-9’s
  • Support Account Receivable and invoicing and collections
  • Preparing and maintaining month end reconciliations and reports
  • Assist with payroll entities and reconciliations including liaising with payroll providers in foreign subsidiaries
  • Assisting with the monthly close cycle and reconciliations
  • Preparing annual regulatory reporting including 1099’s
  • Assist with audit requests

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Experience working in accounting functions (accounts payable, accounts receivable)

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with NetSuite (or similar financial systems)
  • Team management and development 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business accounting, or related field
  • 6+ years proven accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of accrual accounting and regulatory standards (GAAP)
  • International accounting experience

Working Hours: This position is fully-remote and working hours need to align with either the Eastern and Central time zone.

Compensation: Base salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience. Generous incentive compensation structure.
